Valentine’s Day Tablescape

I started with a very simple white table runner that I purchased at Hobby Lobby and I covered it with real rose petals from a bouquet I bought at Trader Joe’s. I used the rose petals from nine roses. Next I added three amaryllis bulbs dipped in wax from Gardentuity which my sister-in-law, Annie, gifted me for my birthday. I had some small glass hurricanes which I placed on the runner and then finished by placing Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Kisses all over the runner, thus making it a sweet treat within reach for each guest.

For the individual place settings I used fabric napkins that I found at Home Goods. While there I also picked up some pretty scalloped paper plates as well as tapas size ceramic plates which have a similar resemblance to the paper plates. I chose a graphic paper napkin to add a little punch of color. I made heart themed oyster shells to use as place card holders. I added three strawberries to each tapas plate to add some visual interest. Chocolate dipped strawberries would be a nice add, but since I already added the Hershey Kisses, I went with plain strawberries.

Overall, a very simple and inexpensive tablescape!
