A Note Before You Start
If you don't own a muddler, you can always use the back of a spoon. The object is to release the essential oils of the mint gently, without being torn or shredded.
Ingredients
2 oz of Kentucky Bourbon
1/2 oz of simple syrup
3 fresh mint leaves plus a sprig for garnish
crushed ice
Preparation
Muddle the three mint leaves inside the glass with the simple syrup to express their natural oils. Add the bourbon and top with crushed ice and garnish with a spring of mint.
