A Note Before You Start

This recipe scales very easily as the ingredient measurements to taste. The recipe calls for a fruit based jam and any will due. This can be server warm or at room temperature.

Ingredients

4 slices of white bread; I used Pepperidge Farm Sandwich bread

8 tsp of fruit based jam; I used peach

6 tsp of goat cheese

fresh herb leaves as garnish; I used parsley

Preparation

Step 1: Using a 1" biscuit cutter, cut 4 rounds out of each slice of bread


Step 2: Gently toast the rounds in a toaster oven


Step 3: Place a dollop of jam on the toasted round and top with a piece of goat cheese.


Step 4: This step is optional: Turn on your broiler and place the rounds under the broiler just to begin to melt the cheese. Watch them closely as they'll easily burn! Remove from the oven and garnish.
