Sugar and Spiced Candied Nuts

This recipe comes from Deb Pearlman of the Smitten Kitchen. She adapted this recipe from the original by Elizabeth Karmel of Hill Country. Elizabeth suggested gifting these to your hostess in a pretty ceramic bowl with a note instructing her to "hide them or they'll disappear".

You'll need the following:

A pretty ceramic bowl or a large glass jar with a lid

White and dark brown sugar

Kosher salt

Smoked paprika


1 lb of walnut or pecan halves (or a mix)

1 egg white
